With the help of subsidies from municipalities and sponsors there is the effort to revitalize (renew) the region. The scope of these activities is to return the original character to the landscape in order for the region to function as a place of active rest for people from all walks of life. A negative phenomenon is the current effort of some interest groups to realize wind power plants and parks in this region. These activities raise strong disagreement from the local inhabitants because they are interested in a renovation in compliance with the original traditions of our ancestors and with nature.
 

 
 
The hotel itself is trying to follow the history of the original settlement. The first act was the construction of the resting place of Saint Hubert – the patron of hunters (the project originated with the support of Lesy České republiky s.p. – “Forests of the Czech Republic”) around 200 metres away from the hotel.
 
 
 
With the support of Horský hotel Lesná a copy of the Krušné hory country house with a permanent exhibition about the life of the mountain people should originate and the construction of a period village chapel in Lesná is being planned. Both these projects have gone through the project part and a building permission is in course at the moment.
